With its distinctive black face and white wool, the Valais blacknose sheep is extremely beautiful. Regardless of the weather in the Swiss Alps, it is content to remain on its home pasture and is not readily perturbed by anything. Even at the winter's lowest temperatures, it is resilient. It makes sense—who could freeze while wearing such a heavy fur coat?
